CELEB NEWS: Whitney Houston Best Friend Robyn Crawford Speaks Her Truth

In new book " A Song For You: My Life with Whitney Houston " Robyn Crawford opens about her long time relationship with the late Whitney Houston publicly for the first time.

For 20 years Robyn has been Whitney Houston’s close’s friend. Meeting Whitney when Robyn just turned 19 and Whitney soon to be 17 at the Community Development Center summer camp in East Orange NJ, where they both worked for the summer. She stated that the romance started as their friendship got closer and became best friends.

Now married with two children of her own Robyn have recently written a book telling her side of the relationship she shared with late singer Whitney Houston. Robyns book is nothing like the past documentries that several have tried to put out on the late singer with a lot of speculations being thrown around on what people's perception was of Whitney and what the relationship was like between her and Robyn. In the book she tells about the short romantic relationship that she shared with Whitney, and really, that was just a small part of their real friendship. Clearing up all of the rumors that people have put out about the two, Robyn recently interviewed with Jada Pinkett Smith on the Red Table Talk, SiriusFM as welll as other news outlets. In those interviews as well as in her book Robyn shared that their sexual relationship started not long after Whitney Houston signed with Arista Records. That relationship was not shared with others and kept just between the two of them. The short romance part that they shared together ended when Whitney went to Robyn's home one day and stated that she did not think that they should be physical anymore. Her reason was because of the fear of others finding out and using the situation against them both in the music business. Whitney then gave Robyn a Bible and told Robyn to love her unconditionally. Robyn stated that after the conversation she chose to take Whitney's lead and love her unconditional.

She also shared what her relationship was like with Whitney Houston's mother, " Sissy Houston ", and also debunk rumors of her being spiteful towards the marriage Whitney, and singer ex husband Bobby Brown had. Several rumors was talked about throughout the years about Bobby Brown and Robyn Crawford having a few blown out fights.

In Robyn's book she shows the unconditional love, respect/ dignity, and loyalty she had and still has for her best friend the late Whitney Houston.
