Common Spirit is NOW HIRING REMOTE Certified RN(s) for their Medical Observation Team $41.05-$70/HR

Common Spirit is currently looking for Part Time (Certified) Virtual Care RN(s) to work REMOTELY for their Medical Observation Department. As a Virtual Care RN you will be responsible for supporting and driving the plan of care and providing comprehensive remote oversight of the care of patients on a medical-surgical or telemetry unit. The virtual model will include collaboration between the bedside team and virtual care members where an incumbent will anticipate and direct the care of the patient through evaluating health promotion, risk reduction and advanced clinical decision-making. In this position you would assume accountability for patient care outcomes through the assimilation and application of evidence-based practice to design, implement and evaluate care. This is accomplished through coordinating, delegating and supervising the care provided by the unit-based health care team, including RNs, LPNs, certified assistants, hospitals, specialty physicians, social workers, case managers and allied health professionals. This work requires a high degree of professional competence and autonomy will be demonstrated in performing the roles of 1) clinician, 2) educator, 3) consultant/collaborator, 4) leader.

To be considered for this position qualifications are as follows: Graduation from an accredited school of nursing, and three years of related acute care work experience. One year of “leadership” experience is preferred. BSN strongly preferred.

Certifications

• Current license as a Registered Nurse issued by the Washington State Board of Nursing.

• Basic Life Support certified through the American Heart Association within six weeks of hire.

• If classified as Virtual Integrated Care RN Cert: current Certified Medical-Surgical RN (CMSRN) is required.

Eligible candidates MUST HAVE a minimum of one year of RN experience in this specialty area, may not be a current employee of Virginia Mason Francican Health, nor previously FTE-employed with VMFH within the last 12 months. Minimum of 0.6 FTE required, and total amount paid is prorated to the FTE. Requires a 2-year commitment.

This position is a Part Time Night Position 6:30PM- 7AM with a starting pay between $41.05- $70/HR. With a Sign-On Bonus paid in lump sum within 30 days of hire!
